Programs

We offer a variety of programs to keep audiences of all ages engaged. From historical reenactments, to puppets, to storytelling–the journey starts here.

Puppets

With more than 80 puppets, Jim & Natalee have companions and side-kicks for any story.

Reenactments

With diverse characters such as Martha Washington, Esther of the Bible, and more, audiences of all ages will be entertained and learn about the lives of notorious figures throughout history.

And More

The Ganyons provide additional story-driven services such as workshops, recreation therapy, senior programs, and more!

Meets State Education Standards

Did you know that having Natalee as Martha Washington meets Kansas State Department of Education standards for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders?

What Can We Expect?

Here is a sample of just one of the many popular stories that may be shared with children during our storytelling sessions for children. The story asks children to recall elements of the story in Español throughout an interactive storytelling process, keeping them engaged.

The story of Esther of Purim is one that many are familiar with in the church; and Natalee helps bring Esther to life with her portrayal.

Additional Programs

With 100 stories of various genres, tall tales, folk tales, true inspirational stories, and stories from Leo Tolstoy, O’Henry, E.G. Poe, Harold Corlander, Joe Hayes, MH Parsons, and more, Natalee and Jim can tailor most program needs to a classroom theme.

In addition, Natalee’s years of Recreation Therapy include programs for Seniors (usually without puppets).

Additional topics include:

  • Pearl Harbor & WWII
  • Holiday origins & game type activities
  • Travels ‘at the table’ 7 wonders of the world
  • States, mottos, and geography
  • Presidents trivia and First Ladies
  • Nut trivia
